True Story: There was one detail in a fundraising brochure which I knew would not go over well in this particular target audience. I made sure to ask the client about it. Once he explained in more detail, I altered the brochure accordingly, and it changed the whole picture.
The result in his (translated) words:
"Great work! The campaign's success were the fruits of her labor!"
