Translation that
Speaks their Language

כתיבה עם הביטויים שלהם, לפי המושגים שלהם, ולפי מה שמקובל במגזר הספציפי שאליו אתה פונה. (אמריקאים חרדים, דתיים לאומיים או אמריקאי כללי.)

"Her work is not just translation- it's much more than that. Understanding the campain's goals and adapting the translation accordingly- just perfect!"

Tzvi Meir Fogel, Mezankim Kadima

Why Choose 'Rosh Americai'?

That's Why I Think about your TA's Reaction

Your Goal=My Goal

Once, I noticed a 'detail' that touched upon a sensitive topic for the target audience- and would destroy the campaign. After inquiring, I recieved info that changed the whole picture, which I then incorporated in the translation. As my client put it:

"The fruits of her labor were: great success"

According to Target Audience

Torah Translation

Hebrew has many Torah idioms and concepts that are common knowledge to Israelis, but not so known even in frum circles in the US. Our translation takes this into account, explaining what needs explaining, substituting expressions where needed, and using/not using 'frum language' depending on the target audience.

Translation Shouldn't Sound 'Translated'

It's Basically: Rewriting from Scratch

During translation I'll ask you questions to find out exactly what message you want to get across with a certain word/sentence. To make it read smoothly, sometimes an entire sentence, paragraph, or more must be rewritten- that's why I need a full understanding of your messaging and goal. Once complete, I go over the translation again, ensuring it flows and really sounds good.

"We warmly recommend  Mrs. Chakak's translation services. We've been working with her for a long period for a large non-profit organition. Her translation is of the highest standard (and we've worked with many before her...) she works with dedication and fully takes the organization's goals and needs into account. She ensures the final outcome has no mistakes and that the feeling each word gives off is exactly what it should. She has a great understanding of content writing in a way that interests our target audience and we see in our fundraising campaigns much interest and outstanding results!"

Let's Talk Tachlis. How's it Work?

Send the document/link you need translated. I'll send timeline/price options to choose from. (Longer timeline=cheaper price)

While translating, I'll ask you questions.
(The ones your target audience will ask]
I ensure the translation encorporates the answers.

After translating, I go over it again to check that it reads smoothly, engages the reader, and no word is uneccesary

Want alterations? No extra charge. Let's make this come out perfect.

But why not use AI instead?

AI

Professional Translator

Free/cheap
Costs some money
Your potential donors will connect to your mission and your organization. They'll feel how special you are and how much of a positive impact they can have, through their donation.
If you're very good at prompting AI to translate into your specific Jewish target audience's lingo, maybe it'll come out okay. But is 'okay' going to impress your potential donors and highlight the points they really care about? Will it know that the messaging for American audiences needs to be more subtle and always stay on the positive side of things?
High chances of getting sizable donations
What are the chances of getting a nice donation?

"Thank you for the professional translation work you've done for us. We're very satisfied with it."

Translation FAQ

"Can you write me something in English, from scratch?"
Yes, definitely. No need to translate from the Hebrew. I'll ask you a bunch of questions in a phone interview to learn about what makes your organizaton unique, and then write from scratch. See Content Writing
